Disposable Cutlery: Eco-Friendly Spoons, Forks and Knives
PrimeWare cutlery is made with PSM (Plant Starch Material) resin. The two major components used to produce PSM cutlery are corn starch and potato starch. PrimeWare’s cutlery is water-proof, oil-proof, and great for all hot and cold food applications.
PrimeWare cutlery is not the total environmental solution, but it is a great start! The cutlery consists of 80% PSM and 20% Polypropylene. PrimeWare is searching for a resin that is both cost competitive and compostable. When we locate a resin that meets this criteria, we will use it to produce cutlery. We look forward to this addition to the our family of products.
